What is Kitting & Assembly
Kitting and assembly is the process of combining multiple SKUs into one single assembled SKU for a customer order. For example, a company selling beer may allow a customer to create a bespoke gift box with a number different beers.
How Kitting & Assembly Works
Our inventory management system tracks individual SKUs that make up the kit and bundles them into a single SKU. Our team will then pick the individual SKUs and pack them into the finished product. We can kit and assemble to order or we can do this in advance and hold stock of the assembled product.
